And today I picked this:
We also have a bunch of tomatoes growing on each plant, so it looks like we'll be able to make at least one salad!
We've had a bunch of rain and it got really hot in the last few days. As a result, the side of our house smells like gardenias because these bloomed in full force within 24 hours. So pretty!

congrats on the successful gardening. i will tell you to make sure youpick zucchini and squash at the seemingly reasonable stage you're picking them at. i let mine get too big last year and managed to attract every squash bug in the state of kentucky. those suckers are a pain!
your gardenias look great, too.
Yay! I was hoping you'd update us on your garden soon! I was just thinking yesterday that I needed to ask you about that. Congrats! You've officially got a green thumb. Let us know how they tasted!
Ooh, I'm so envious. Looks delicious and beautiful. Can't wait to start my own. As it is, my potted herbs are going crazy with all the rain--we will have plenty of parsley and mint! Now if only Penny would stop eating the basil....
The gardenias are beautiful. I know where your "green thumb" comes from. Keep on harvesting.
